Unhandled Exception errors are one of the toughest things to troubleshoot. The good thing is that we have a solution for:
- Unhandled Exception E0434F4D (e0434f4dh) at address 7c81EB33h
- Unhandled Exception E0434352 (e0434f4dh) at address 7c81EB33h
We had to add Read and Read & Execute to the group Users and/or Everyone for the following files:
Windows XP/Vista/7 x86 (32 bit)
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config
Windows XP/Vista/7 x64 (64 bit)
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\machine.config
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config\machine.config
I had to update this reference post as well.

Epilogue
If you have the same product installed on serveral computers and the error happens only on 1 computer, you can copy the folders above from a working computer to an non-working computer to easily transfer the proper permissions.

Do I understand then Microsoft.net version 4 has to be installed prior to installation of Civil 3D 2012? I did not see that option on the installation disk. Thank you.
