AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac: App Store vs Autodesk Download

Now that most of the 2013 products have been released, here is a special note for AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac users.  This product is now available in 2 forms:

1. Downloaded Trial/DVD version that requires a serial number and product key to install the software.

This version allows you to cross grade if necessary to the Windows version if you require it.  Just use the same serial number and install it using the appropriate product key noted below:

AutoCAD 2013 LT for Mac Product Key: 827E1
AutoCAD 2013 LT for Windows Product Key: 057E1

2. The Mac App Store version is handled by Apple and this version is 'mac' only.  If you plan to use the Autodesk product on different operating systems quite often, our suggestion is purchase the Downloaded Trial/DVD version.

In the 2012, AutoCAD LT for Mac was only available as an App Store version.

Word of caution about the Mac Appstore Autocad LT, it is for non-commercial use only. The licensing agreement is on the product page. It's best to buy the download version.
