Privacy Statement for Autodesk Products

We had an interesting case in which a user would always get the Autodesk Privacy Statement to come up all the time when launching the product even though you accepted it.

Privacy-statement

To resolve this issue, you will need to delete the following file:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\AdlmUserSettings.xml

Then ensure that the folder has full Read/Write access:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\

Launch your Autodesk product and accept the Autodesk Privacy Statement and ensure the contents of the AdlmUserSettings.xml file has the following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<AdlmSettings>
<Section Name="PrivacyPolicyConsent">
<Data Key="001F1:2014.0.0.F">1</Data>
</Section>
</AdlmSettings>
The xml file above was for AutoCAD 2014 because of the Data Key field is 001F1.
Thanks to the Development Team (Efim) for helping us out on the issue & Randy
Swanson for confirming that the tip worked.
Epilogue

Via our Linux guru Nelson Cruz, the location for this file is here:

/home/username/Adlm

You can also delete the following folder to reset the setting as well.

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Adlm
