How to I deploy Autodesk 2016 products with updates?
Establish an Internet Connection to Continue (Reprise)

Adding a Service Pack to Navisworks Manage 2016 network deployment.

This is a workaround to include Navisworks Manage 2016 SP2 to your network deployment of Navisworks Manage 2015 in case you were not able to add the SP via Application Manager.

1.Download Navisworks Manage 2016 Service Pack 2 from the link below.

 http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/navisworks-products/downloads/caas/downloads/content/navisworks-2016-service-pack-2.html

 2. Place Autodesk_Navisworks_2016_Service_Pack_2_Multilingual_Manage_64bit.msp file in your  Navisworks Manage 2016 network deployment x64\NAVMAN\ folder.

3.Open your Navisworks Manage 2016 network deployment ini file (you can find the file in your deployment Img folder, 'your_deployment_name.ini') in Notepad add the path to  Autodesk_Navisworks_2016_Service_Pack_2_Multilingual_Manage_64bit.msp under Navisworks section in PATCHES=.

 e.g.

#-PATCHES=
PATCHES=x64\NAVMAN\Autodesk_Navisworks_2016_Service_Pack_2_Multilingual_Manage_64bit.msp

4. Save the ini file

Darren

this seems to be an issue with 2016 deployments
the autodesk application manager is not finding updates for a Infrastructure Design Suite Ultimate 2016 deployment when i know there are updates for Civil 3D & Map 3D & some other products in this suite

Can I ask if same process would apply for Simulate and Freedom?

You can use this workaround to any Autodesk software that has update available in .msp file, if an update is released as .msi or .exe, then you can add them to your deployment image under 'Include additional software' section.
