I have turned off my User Access Controls (UAC) on my home computer and I have recently paid for it with 3 hours of downtime via malicious rogueware. I found this post from Dr. Z (Microsoft Architect Evangelist in Mid-Atlantic Region) quite helpful.
Turn User Access Control off to install Autodesk products:
