I have had a handful of cases in the last year dealing with JIT (just-in-time) debugging errors. Typically, it has happened on Windows XP.
These errors typically indicate that the video card is not powerful enough to run the product. The Certified Hardware list is located here:

In one of my scenarios, we had two identical systems using an unsupported Intel Intergrated Graphics/Video card. One of the systems was able to run AutoCAD 2012 but the other system had a JIT (just-in-time) error. The issue was resolved by updating the video driver from the vendor. In this case, both computers are now running the same video driver.
