While the compatibility issues with some Autodesk products and the new Apple operating system 10.7.1 (Lion) are being worked on, forcing users not to upgrade, if you really cannot resist, you can create a partition on your hard disk (e.g. using Disk Utility) and install Lion there. You will be able to chose which system/partition to boot simply pressing the "option" key (alt) at power on.
The dual boot is not the ideal solution but you would be able to use the operating system with it's new features and the products already compatible (e.g. AutoCAD 2012) while keeping the previous system alive.
If you already have a BootCamp partition, you will have three choices at startup (Snow Leopard, Lion and BootCamp).
