If you have been installing and uninstalling multiple versions of Autodesk software, you may notice that the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE will have multple entries pointing to multple servers and potentially contain multiple locations of the licpath.lic file.
NOTE: If you have setup this environment variable in System Properties via this TS:

The Value data for the Variable should be all the same in all the locations noted below and will have entries in ControlSet & CurrentControlSet:
Variable: ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE
Example Value: @server1;@server2;@server3
or
Variable: ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE
Example Value: @server1; C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012
or
Variable: ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE
Example Value: @server1
The registry location for the Value data for Windows XP that needs to be changed is below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Flexlm License Manager\ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE
