I was working with the Revit development team and what tests they use as the 'standard' for benchmarking launch times. One of the items in the Windows Services that was disabled for testing was "SuperFetch". Ultimately, you should enable this cool feature in Windows 7:

Makes sense to disable it for benchmarking, though, since it'll give you a boost that isn't necessarily representative of what users will see.
