Product Keys: Getting your product key from the compressed downloaded file via Subcenter

Here is an awesome tip, if you have downloaded your software via the Subscription Center, just before you extract the file, you can extrapolate the product key from the part number.  Here are some samples:

AutoCAD 2011

Mudbox 2012

Epilogue

If you are using a Multiflex license, you can use the Multiflex Product Key [535D1] for any of the 2012 products.   If you plan to use a 2011 product, use the 2012 serial number and then use the default 2011 product key.

For example, if you have the Product Design Suite 2012 on Subscription, you will be able to run the older products.  

1. Download the 2011/2010/2009 from the Subscription Center.

2. Extract the file and note the Product Key.

3. Install the software using the 2012 serial number but use the product key noted in step #2.
