Network License Manager: The installation package is not supported by this processor type. Plesae contact your Product Vendor.

Problem:  

When installing the Network License Manager [NLM], you get this error message:

The installation package is not supported by this processor type.  Plesae contact your Product Vendor.

Solution:  

The error is caused because you are trying to install a 64 bit Autodesk NLM on a 32 bit Windows operating system.
