Deploying Maya 2015 Extension 1 + SP5

The easiest way to reset AutoCAD for Mac

A bit of luck and a bit of googling, I confirmed it.  Just double click AutoCAD while holding the shift key and AutoCAD for Mac will reset to default.  This feature started in AutoCAD 2014 for Mac SP1 and it is noted in the Read Me.  I hope you enjoy my second infographic.

Mac OS 10.10 [Yosemite] + Autodesk Products

I love updates but please update with caution! Any full point release [10.10] is pretty much a whole new operating system on the Mac.

If you are currently using Autodesk products on the Mac, please don't upgrade yet.

AutoCAD Electrical and Updating Dialog box

I recently helped a customer with this error when launching AutoCAD Electrical.

The software was not updating anything and this error was happening right when launching the product so it made it completely unusable.

In this case, the solution was to add some exceptions to the Antivirus software.

The dreaded Blue Screen Of Death & my second Webinar....

Personally, I haven't had a lot of Blue Screen of Death [BSOD] on Windows.  In fact, it is a rarity on Windows if your system is protected with the latest Anti-Virus software, moderate UAC controls, and Malware removal software is used.

During my last Webinar, I actually had a BSOD during a presentation.  It reminded me of this live presentation with Bill Gates.

This was the first time a BSOD happened in any of our Webinars so it is something we will add to the Webinar process so that we can recover quickly.  For those who attended, I appreciate your understanding.
